Sometimes, you notice signs of health weakening and aging on your body before you see your first real achievements in life.
And you ask yourself, how can you find the right balance between personal growth and personal care? So that, you do minimum to maintain your health yet which is enough to keep you going in the pursuit of your happiness.
Why reading Wellness Gaps?
I’m going to show you how to optimize your lifestyle so that health maintenance or treating health issues doesn't take too much of your time allowing you to focus on more important tasks.
Here’s how I’m going to do that:
Who started this blog?
Hey, Ion here. I believe that feeling and looking good shouldn’t be considered a heroic achievement. It should rather be an easy task for those who control their desires and focus on the right habits.
But why would you trust me in the first place?
So far in my life, I’ve learned that your daily habits may determine how hard or how easy it is going to be to earn any achievements in life.
For example, if you overeat chances are that your belly will grow but if you control your cravings your body maintains its natural healthy shape.
Based on my habits, my life can be devised in two parts.
In the first part of my life, healthy habits prevailed. For 15 years, I practiced karate, gymnastics, swimming, meditation, Qi gong, Tai-chi. I also became a licensed massage therapist.
In the second part of my life, I have stopped practicing all the above and focused entirely on personal growth to provide for my family’s needs.
Today, after more than 10 years of skipping exercising, I clearly understand the difference between these two types of lifestyles.
When I actively pursued healthy habits, I felt so confident in my own body. My body was toned and I easily controlled it even if sometimes I allowed myself to break the rules.
On the other side, the lack personal care for my body became sluggish. I felt heavier. I gained weight faster. I had less energy.
I realized that this becomes an obstacle in my life.
I started this blog to share how to change your lifestyles to prevent diseases, aches, and stop the negative perception people make based on your physical unhealthy appearance.
