The 10 Best Personal Grooming Tips for Men

Do you admire James Bond?

Bond has become an iconic character that embraces many elements of an attractive man.

If you've watched the James Bond movies, you've noticed how impeccable his hygiene. No matter the circumstance he is in, driving a fast car or fighting somebody in a falling helicopter - Bond is always well-groomed and dressed with style.

Even if you're not a James Bond fan you may still have a natural desire to look good and attractive.

And that's normal.

The question is how do you maintain yourself well-groomed?

Today, I'm sharing with you male personal grooming tips to help you look attractive.

Male personal grooming tips

1. Basic hygiene is a must

Try to eliminate the hygiene issues that trigger embarrassment in people if you want them to feel safe around you. Practice good personal hygiene to put your feet in the door.

Be the person that:

  • Washes hands after using the bathroom, taking meals, public facilities, touching dirty and dusty objects, etc.
  • Doesn’t share his personal hygiene items like razors, trimmers, combs, towels, underwear, etc, with anybody.
  • Covers his mouth with a cloth whenever he feels the urge to sneeze or cough.

Following basic hygiene speaks about you as a conscious person that doesn't want to be the source of an infection or contamination.

2. Have a timely haircut

Give your hairstyle a bump by having a haircut every 2-3 weeks.

This will keep your hairstyle fresh and attractive.

3. Trim the nose and ear hair

As you get closer to 30 years old, you may notice stray hair growing out of your nose or ears.

Use a trimmer or tweezers to pluck that hair.

4. Pluck your eyebrows

Same story with your eyebrows.

Pluck out your eyebrows hair to keep them nice and neat.

If you want to learn how to correctly groom your eyebrows I recommend watching Aaron Marino’s Youtube video where he explains how to determine the right shape of the eyebrow and which tools you need to do that.

5. Shave or trim your beard

Whether you grow a beard or you keep you face clean, make sure it's well-cared.

If stray hair sticks out of the bird then take a trimmer and cut it off.

6. Add a little scent to your body

After taking a shower, add a little fragrance to your body to smell irresistibly attractive.

Try to not to overuse deodorant or cologne because too much of it becomes repulsive.

7. Have your clothes tailored to fit your body

The clothes that you wear should emphasize the advantages of your body. That's why wearing clothes that fit your exact size is so important.

Avoid wearing loose clothing.

8. Stand up straight

Wearing the most expensive clothes in the world won’t make you more confident in yourself if your body language is weak. That means not looking down or walk with a curved back.

Always look in front and keep your back straight. If you can smile to people that would do wonders for you.

9. Match your belt color to your shoe color

Match the color of the belt with the color of your shoes.

For example.

If you wear black color shoes try to combine them with a black color belt.

10. Keep your shoes clean

Your shoes are another important grooming element that speaks about your style.

Real gentlemen would never wear dirty and smelly shoes and you should follow this rule as well.

If you wear classic shoes, make sure to polish them. If you wear casual shoes, make sure they are clean and odor-free.

Conclusion

Use these male personal grooming tips to improve your attractiveness and confidence in your physical appearance.

A well-cared physical appearance may impress your interviewee, client or date. Consider that it’s your only opportunity, putting your foot in the door first is crucial.

Once your prospect notices you, you may have a chance to speak up.

Remember.

People first judge you by your look before listening to what you have to say. So, grab their attention with a well-cared and attractive look.

After you’ve done that, you may develop stronger relationships.
