How to Get Rid of Cigarette Breath Before Kissing in 4 Simple Steps

“Kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray.”

If you're a smoker and your girlfriend isn't, than, most likely, she dislikes the cigarette breath from your mouth while kissing.

She finds it disgusting and unhealthy for a passive smoker like her. Passive smoking is more dangerous than active smoking.

Even when a smoker doesn't smoke, your girlfriend can still smell the cigarette smoke from your hair, skin and clothes.

Don’t you think this affects your romantic time?

The good thing is that you can follow a specific routine to get rid of the cigarette smell from your entire body.

4 steps to get rid of cigarette breath before kissing

If you've planed a date for the evening make sure you have good breath for kissing.

A successful kissing experience may put the the foundation of a lasting relationship.

1. Clean your mouth thoroughly

If you smoke 10 to 20 cigarettes per day your breath might smell nasty for a non-smoker. Even your favorite mouth fresheners may not be able to remove the cigarette taste.

So, the first step, is to thoroughly clean your mouth, teeth, and tongue of the huge amount from cigarette smoke absorbed during the day.

Follow these oral hygiene steps:

  • Brush your teeth
  • Scrape your tongue
  • Floss
  • Use an antibacterial mouthwash

2. Pay attention to your diet

Next step, promote the salivation flow in your mouth.

Saliva washes away the bad smelling bacteria and prevents dry mouth.

Avoid consuming odorous foods and sugary drinks from the list below.

• coffee
• carbonated drinks
• alcohol
• onion
• garlic
• fish
• … etc

3. Drink more water

Drinking water is a habit recommended in many dieting, exercising programs or simply as a healthy lifestyle choice.

One of its benefits is that it washes away cigarette smoke particles from your mouth.

It also maintains a good level of hydration in your body. It promotes salivation, which cleans the entire mouth.

4. Get rid of smoke smell from your entire body

A non-smoker dislikes the cigarette smoke from the mouth but also the cigarette smoke absorbed into your skin, hair and clothes.

So, before you go on a date, practice good personal hygiene, make a shower and wear clean clothes.

You will be ready, only after you'll be well-groomed, look clean and smell fresh.

This increases your chances to earn a kiss.

Follow this routine:

1. Take a shower – wash your hair and body to eliminate up to 95% of the odor-causing bacteria from your body.
2. Wear clean, fresh and ironed clothes.
